It may come as a shock that in these chilly temperatures some people spent their Sunday morning hurtling into the freezing ocean. Yet this came as no surprise to Falkland’s residents who celebrated the much anticipated 30th anniversary of the Midwinter Swim. This years’ event raised a whopping £2,700 for the Stephen Jaffray Memorial Fund, Cancer Support and Awareness and The Falkland Shears. We just couldn’t resist going down to witness the madness and fun ourselves!
