This weekend, the British Antarctic Survey’s (BAS) Twin Otter plane landed at Stanley airport after conducting scientific work in Antarctica.

The plane is currently being used to support medevac coverage in the islands before it will return to Canada for annual maintenance.

On Saturday, members of the public were invited to visit the plane during an open day.
