Community Gathers for Atlantic Conveyor Memorial Service

On the evening of the 25th May 1982, the MV Atlantic Conveyor was hit by 2 Exocet missiles. That same day, HMS Coventry was sunk by Argentine A-4 Skyhawks.

41 years on, members of the community and veterans gathered at the memorial site for a service of remembrance.

After the service we caught up with HMS Fearless veteran, Michael Izzard to find out about his experience of being back in the Islands.
