With cases of bird flu recently being reported in Chile, the public are being reminded to consider how their domestic poultry is housed. The Department of Agriculture has worked to put in a number of preventative biosecurity measures to help mitigate against the risks. The community is also reminded that if they see any sick birds to report them to the vets and not to touch them.
