Got a sweet tooth? Well why not satisfy those chocolate cravings and treat yourself to something tasty?
Darnell went into the kitchen to show us how to make a delicious chocolate mousse and we thought it would only be right of us to share!
Chocolate Mousse
Ingredients:
- 200g Dark Chocolate
- 3 Eggs (separate the yolks from the whites)
- 40g Golden Caster Sugar
Serves 4
Method:
Place the chocolate in a microwaveable bowl and melt in the microwave for approx. 1 minute. Leave to cool for approx. 2 – 3 minutes. Once cooled add the eggs yolks and mix until fully combined. Set aside.
In a separate bowl whisk the egg whites until fluffy, stiff peaks appear. Add the golden caster sugar into the egg whites bit by bit and whisk until fully incorporated.
Fold the egg white mixture into the chocolate mixture bit by bit until a smooth consistency is achieved.
Spoon the mixture evenly into four ramekins, cover with cling film and put in the fridge to set for a couple of hours.
