The first fully electric fleet of cars arrived in the Falklands in June, as part of a new environmental project launched by eLink – a new sustainable division of local company Atlink.

Four Kia e-Niro 4+ models are now being trialled to test the overall suitability for the Falklands Islands environment.

Initial testing has begun on the roads of Stanley, with the trial set to continue with visits to camp to check the range and practicality of the electric models.
