Falkland Island Resupply ship halts civilian pet travel

Pets of civilians will no longer be allowed to travel on the Falkland Island Resupply ship (FIRS), as confirmed in a statement from BFSAI.

As of the 8th May, a return to the original policy will take place meaning that pet movements will be limited to military and MOD Civil Service personnel.

It was added that the MOD are not responsible for the movement of pets via FIRS and this decision has come as part of a routine review.

Commenting on the situation, FIG said that it is possible to import and export pets from certain countries through LATAM.
