Falkland Islands Key Biodiversity Area for Sei Whales

Research has revealed that the Falkland Islands are a globally important hotspot for the endangered sei whale whose population is in recovery at the moment after years of hunting.

As a result, the first ever Key Biodiversity Area for sei whales has been confirmed.
