Falklands Conservation Issues Tussac Planting Update

A team from Falklands Conservation has returned to the Middle and Motley Islands, the sites of extensive restoration work in the winter of 2021, to check on the progress of the tussac that was planted there.

To their delight, the team found that the planting had achieved a success rate of 87%. In these sites, Falklands Conservation have planted 75 hectares of tussac, which amounts to around 25,000 total plants.
