Twenty two members of The Falkland Islands Defence Force have been awarded the Kings Coronation medal for their contribution to the King’s coronation parade in London last year. Over 400,000 medals were presented by the palace, with Government House holding a presentation for Falklands recipients. During the presentation, a new second in Command officer was appointed and a fond farewell was wished to his predecessor Derek Clarke.
