Local climate campaigners gathered on Stanley Harbour last Saturday to mark a ‘Global Day of Action for Climate Justice’ as global environmental conference COP26 continued.

Over the past two weeks, world leaders have met in Glasgow to discuss key environmental issues like water pollution and deforestation.

A number of MLAs were in attendance at the Saturday’s local demonstration in Stanley, with campaigners aiming to generate more awareness to the climate emergency.
