Every year, on the 8th of March, International Women’s Day is celebrated across the globe. The occasion celebrates the various achievements and contributions of women around world while also continuing to call for greater gender parity.

Government House hosted a reception to mark the day and we spoke to women from across the community to hear what the day meant to them.
