A memorial service for Lieutenant Nick Taylor was held on 4th May. The 32 year old harrier pilot, was shot down by Argentine anti-aircraft guns during the raid at Goose Green and was the first British casualty of the Falklands war. Members of the community in his honour. Members of the community gathered at his memorial site for a service of remembrance in memory of his bravery.
