In the run up to Liberation Day on the 14th June, a special 1982 commemorative bench was unveiled at the Liberation monument. The bench is part of a wider project organised by Paul Summers, to site 12 memorial benches across the Islands. Veteran marines Lyndon Pearce and Andy Usher were part of the group who unveiled the bench.
