In the run up to the 19th NatWest International Island Games Guernsey 2023, we have been joining some of Team Falkland Islands in their training sessions for the competition.

Football was a highly oversubscribed sport this year with the Falklands lucky enough to draw a spot as one of the 16 teams competing. They’ll face a tough group stage in Guernsey which has meant some very strict training.

We sent Darnell along to learn more, but before he was allowed anywhere near a pitch, the team put him through his paces with their, very intense, circuit training workout.
