The Falkland Islands Government is launching a public consultation after establishing a proposed set of Marine Managed Areas which will be used to support and protect biodiversity and the economy of the islands.

The government invites the public to give feedback on the location of the areas of which will be considered alongside technical information to assist with policy development by FIG. Dr Rachel Cooper explained the reason behind the consultation and what it hopes to achieve.
