New Rural Bill Discussed at Legislative Assembly

At the last Legislative Assembly meeting the implementation of a new rural bill was discussed. MLA Teslyn Barkman has put the recommendation forward in hopes that the bill will help to promote economic development and representation in Camp.

The bill is broken down into different stages, according to MLA Barkman; the first is an economic plan which includes cultural issues and issues of connectivity. The work introduced in the plan mirrors in some aspects the Rural Development Strategy previously put forward, but hopes to improve on it.
