Preliminary Results for Falklands 2021 Census Released

The first results from last year’s census have been announced by the Falkland Islands Government. Initial data shows that just over 3,200 people were in the islands on census night.

Not including Mount Pleasant Complex, 1,350 occupied houses were counted on the night – which is an increase of 14% compared to 2016. Full details and data from the census are still being worked on, with the full analytics to be published in the coming months.
