Postdoctoral researcher, Doctor Quentin Jossart visited the islands as part of a research project on the Falklands’ intertidal zones – a project funded through an EU Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship.

The scientist (who is from Univ. de Bourgogne & Univ. Libre de Bruxelles) is collaborating with SAERI and has been travelling across East Falkland to sample organisms within different coastal environments.

The completed work will provide insight into levels of biodiversity in Southern Ocean communities and aid wider conservation efforts within the region.
