Scientists conclude Invasive Species fieldwork in South Georgia

Researchers have completed the final stages of fieldwork for an investigation on South Georgia related to invasive species.

The four-year project which is funded by Darwin Plus and supported by SAERI and the University of Durham, is studying the effect of invasive invertebrates on native wildlife and the effects of climate change.

We caught up with Post-Doctoral Research Assistant, Pierre Tichit who has been studying the impact of two invasive beetle species over the past six weeks.
