The 20th May marked one year of Stanley receiving city status, a proud and memorable moment for the Falklands Islands and the community of Stanley.

Stanley was declared a city during the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations and in the midst of the Falklands commemorating its 40^th anniversary since the war.
