Summary Court | Mr J Ortiz

Jose Vega Ortiz appeared in the Summary Court on Wednesday facing two charges, driving without valid insurance and driving without a valid licence. He pleaded guilty to both.

On the 7th July police had stopped him driving a vehicle and when asked to produce his documents it was apparent that his driving licence had expired the previous year meaning that the insurance on the car did not cover him.

The Justices of the Peace fined Mr Jose Vega Ortiz £267 for driving without insurance, ordered him to pay £150 court costs and his licence was endorsed for both offences.
