Team Tranquil World Mental Health Day

Mental health and wellbeing has been put under the spotlight in recent years especially some are feeling a sense of disconnect and isolation as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

World Mental Health Day falls on the 10th October and was first celebrated in 1992 at the initiative of the World Federation for Mental Health.

The international day promotes global mental health education, awareness and advocacy against social stigma. Jonny spoke to Ruth Taylor of Team Tranquil about their plans to mark the occasion.
