Brian Wood does 35-day Marathon runs to Honour Lives Lost in Conflict

Find it difficult to get up in the mornings? Well try running a marathon a day for 35 days!

This is exactly what Former Colour Sergeant and Military Cross holder Brian Wood is doing in aid of military charity Walking With the Wounded.

Brian visited the Islands last week with the ambitious goal of completing four marathons within his 4 day visit. This aspiring feat is part of The Ultimate Sacrifice Challenge where Brian will run a total of 917 miles to recognise the 890 British lives lost in the Falklands, Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts.
