Work on Oil Readiness and telecoms development has been highlighted as key priorities for government over the next 6 to 9 months during a meeting between MLAs and Directors of FIG. Some other government work will be temporarily postponed and could affect some areas of policy and legislative development. Members reaffirmed that the Port and Power Station remain their primary priorities but recognise that other capital works in the replacement of aging infrastructure will continue. We spoke to MLA Mark Pollard about how the construction sector will balance ongoing projects moving forward.
