Falkland Islands Government Receives £19m Windfall From Positive Investment Performances

During a meeting of the Legislative Assembly, Executive Council members revealed that the Falkland Islands had received a £19m windfall from positive investment performances.

£10m of that has been provisionally allocated to address the housing shortage, with plans to spend it on developing the Sapper Hill construction project.

The other £9m has been provisionally allotted to private sector business development.
