Meet the Team

We are a small and dedicated team, working from our studio in Stanley, the capital of the Falkland Islands. All content is produced in-house making us personally invested in all aspects of our content.

Hannah Newton

Station Manager

Hannah is from Surrey and graduated from Falmouth University in 2016 with a degree in Journalism.

She arrived in the Falkland Islands in March 2018 and is loving life in the southern hemisphere meeting lots of new and interesting people.

Katharyn Daniels

Deputy Station Manager

Katharyn is from Worcestershire and graduated from the University of Lincoln in 2019 with a degree in Journalism.

She’s been busy seeing all the wildlife the Falklands has to offer as well as meeting lots of new people.

Darnell Christie

Broadcast Journalist

Darnell is from London and graduated with a degree in journalism from the London College of Communication in 2021.

He arrived in the Falkland Islands in March 2022 and is thoroughly enjoying covering the news of the islands as well as taking in the stunning natural environment and local culture. 

Isabel Casson

Bela is from Hampshire and is looking to start her work at University studying film and television production in 2023.

She moved to the Falklands in July 2022, and is enjoying the experience of living and working abroad and exploring the Islands.
