Monday was Commonwealth Day.

To mark the occasion, the Commonwealth flag flew beside the Falkland Islands flag on Victory Green – and inside the Town Hall a Youth Parliament was held.

Students between years 8 and 10 asked MLAs a series of questions on a variety of topics, in front of an audience of students, the public, and visiting politicians from Uruguay.
