The King Edward Memorial Hospital will no longer offer immigration medical tests for those already in the Falklands on short-term work permits.

The decision comes as KEMH revealed GP appointments are being taken up by people moving from short-term to full work permits once in the Islands.

Falklands legislation indicates medicals for full work permit applications must be completed before arrival.
