44 years ago last Friday Goose Green and Darwin were liberated from argentine occupation.

A force – mainly consisting of the second battalion parachute regiment – freed over 100 residents from the town hall after the argentine surrender.

To mark the occasion a service was held between the two settlements to remember those who fought and gave their lives in the battle
