Public Works Department provides reassurances over Fox Bay airstrip project funding

Funding options for the Fox Bay all-weather airstrip project were discussed during the latest Executive Council meeting. The preferred option submitted to the Council by officers was to defer parts of the Camp Roads budget for the next four years, which could see future work on roads around the Falklands shortened. The Public Works Department are keen to reassure the community that any potential impact from this move would be minimal.
