Charity walk raises thousands to bring veteran’s family to the Falkland Islands

A group of Falkland’s locals have completed a gruelling three day charity walk of 72 miles from wreck point to the Liberation memorial in Stanley. The Nelson’s walk group raised £1986 over their 21 hours on the road, and thousands more from a raffle online donations. The money will go towards bringing the family of Gary Nelson, a soldier who died in the Falklands War, to the islands.
