In 2019, 1982 veteran Barry Avery took on the Mount Everest Base Camp trek to raise funds for the Falklands Veterans Foundation and Liberty Lodge.

And if that wasn’t a challenge enough – he’s now in Nepal tackling the Annapurna trek. This time raising funds for FVF and the Gurkhas.

We had a chat to him ahead of the trek to find out more about his fundraising efforts.
