Boxing Day horse racing returned to Stanley for its 112th year, once again delivering a standout event in the Falkland Islands sporting calendar.

Organised by the Stanley Sports Association, this long-standing Boxing Day event saw riders and horses take to the track in challenging but fair conditions, producing competitive racing and strong performances across the programme.

As ever, the races brought together families, visitors and the local community, reinforcing their place as a Boxing Day highlight.

The event continues to honour over a century of local racing tradition while remaining a key social occasion in the Falklands’ festive calendar.
