Bumblebees Arrive Unexpectedly In The Falkland Islands

Over the last few months you may have noticed a curious new insect that seems to have made its home in the Falklands.

This summer there have been numerous sightings of bumblebees on flowers in Stanley.

These popular little pollinators are not native to the islands and so caught the attention of a team of invasive species experts who are visiting from the UK and Norway.
