218 officially certified lunatics got on their swimming suits and took to Surf Bay last Saturday to take part in this year’s Mid-winter swim. At 6 degrees, 2 degrees warmer than last year, the swimmers certainly has their breath taken away as they charged into the icy waters. The event raised £840 pounds in support of, the Cancer Support and Awareness Trust, the Stephen Jaffray Memorial Fund, and the Falkland Shears.
