Children with Special Education Needs and Disabilities and children with English as an Additional Language, will not be granted dependant permits under work permit applications. 29.8% of children at Falkland’s schools having special educational needs and 5.4% speak English as an additional language. Currently educational staff are unable to offer support to any additional SEND and EAL children. The decision will be reviewed in December by Executive council.
