Falkland Islands Government cease £120m port contract negotiations with Harland & Wolff

Falkland Islands Government has ended contractual negotiations with Harland & Wolff for the new port project.

This comes after both parties were unable to reach a mutually acceptable commercial position.

Harland and Wolff were identified as the preferred bidder for the £120 million port development project earlier this year.

No money has been paid to Harland and Wolff. FIG will now be looking at an alternative partner.
