Falkland Islands Government will take over the management of the Sapper Hill Nursery run by Stanley Kids Zone at the end of June.
Executive Council approved the takeover after Stanley Kids Zone gave notice and other private sector businesses showed no interest in managing the nursery.
The management of the nursery will be run by the Education Department for the next 2-3 years.
