MLA Mark Pollard and MLA Peter Biggs will be attending the United Nations Committee C24 on the 18th of June. The Special Committee on Decolonization which consists of 29 members was established by the UN in 1962 comes together annually to make suggestions and recommendations around the issue of decolonization. Members of the Legislative Assembly will be representing the Falkland Islands rights to self-determination at the event and will be accompanied on the trip by two special advisors, Michael Goss and Emma Leigh Middleton.
