Preparations for the 2026 Commonwealth Games are ramping up, with nations and territories around the world getting ready to compete for glory.

But beforehand nations have been asked to join forces to take a combined 1 million pieces of plastic out of Commonwealth oceans and waterways.

Last weekend, the Falkland Islands held its’ beach clean, with young and old coming together to take on the challenge.
