Falkland Islands Volunteers Help Restore Tussac Grass On Sea Lion Island

Last month, as the tourist season wrapped up, a group of local volunteers flew out to Sea Lion Island to plant tussac.

The annual trip, funded by Falkland Islands Holidays and Wild Falklands Ltd, aims to restore peatland damaged by historic grazing.

This is the second visit volunteers have made since a wildfire broke out two years ago.
