Executive Council has approved a 12-month suspension of all Permanent Residence Permit Applications while the Falkland Islands Government carries out a review of immigration policy.
The decision follows concerns raised during last year’s General Election campaign, when immigration featured prominently in public discussions and candidates manifestos.
