Falkland Islands Development Corporation will temporarily halt new applications for loans or grants connected to their Green Business Programme.

The scheme funds projects such as camp water systems and energy – so the announcement provoked some concern amongst the Camp community.

This follows ExCo deferring a decision to keep funding the programme through the end of the current financial year.
