Fishing vessel An Fong 168 grounded near the Capstan Gift Shop on Wednesday evening.

The vessel was freed for a brief period but despite efforts by the Falkland Islands Maritime Authority, strong northerly winds prevented a full recovery, and the vessel re-grounded near the Public Jetty.

The tug Giessenstroom arrived on Thursday morning, to assist.
