Hospital Inspection found services "good" and "outstanding"

The Inspection of KEMH has found services “to be good and, in some case, outstanding”. The inspection which took place in November of last year focused on four key service areas provided by the KEMH, emergency care, ward based care, theatres, and the process for medical treatment overseas.

While these areas were the focus, the team were able to include a review of other services including the pharmacy and the laboratory.

Plans for a wider review of the service including Maternity Services are planned for later in 2025.
