A scientist from the South Atlantic Research Institute has given an update on a 2 year long freshwater monitoring project.

Using historic satellite data, moisture probes and local knowledge, she’s created a picture of how freshwater supplies have changed over the years.

The hope is to use this to help model future scenarios.

The Darwin Plus funded project is in partnership with the UK Centre for Ecology and Hydrology and Falkland Islands Government.
