In the afternoon, Her Royal Highness planted a tree for The Queen’s Green Canopy in the 1982 Memorial Wood.
The Queen’s Green Canopy is a tree planting initiative that began in May 2021 in honour of the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II in 2022. Since its launch, over 140 trees have been planted across the UK and now, one in the Falklands.
