The independent inspection of the KEMH services took place last week. The inspection was based around the Care Quality Commission framework and looked at whether the hospital is safe, effective and responsive to people’s needs. This is the first independent inspection to have taken place in 10 years. The inspectors will provide a list of recommendations following their findings and a report is expected in early 2025.
