The BBC will be delaying the region blocking of the BBC sounds app to listeners outside of the UK. The matter was raised at the latest meeting of the Legislative Assembly after members of the community had voiced their concerns of potentially losing the service. The Falklands does not currently have access to services such as BBCIplayer, 4On Demand or ITVX due to geoblocking. We spoke to MLA Mark Pollard to find out if anything could be done to bring these services to the Falklands.
